Vertegram is the combination of the words ‘vertical’ and ‘enneagram’.
2. What does ‘vertical’ stand for here?
Vertical relates to Vertical Thinking. All human beings have the ability to recognize a certain phenomenon on different levels. When we are ill we know that this illness has relevance in our psyche, a correspondence. Recognizing the same problem on two different levels - physical and psychical - can be called Vertical Thinking.
“Real change always comes after understanding.”
Realizing and recognizing analogies is a form of Vertical Thinking. Obviously this is oversimplified, but it can give a hint on what this is about. Join me on the Vertegram blog and you will learn how to recognize obvious and subtle ways to use the Vertical Thinking for a more meaningful life.

3. What does the ‘enneagram’ mean?
The word derives from Greek, meaning ‘the drawing of nine’. It is a nine pointed geometric figure with special properties that make it a special symbol. Actually you can find tons of informations on the enneagram all over the Internet. Yet, you will face heavy one-sidedness. This is due to the popularity of the ‘Sytem of the Nine Personality types’.

The 9 enneagram types is definitely the most exciting system I’ve ever found. Through reading this blog you will become quite familiar with it. Nevertheless, it is my goal to show you another approach and utility of the enneagram, called ‘The Process Enneagram’.
