Always has to be a mixture of these approaches, so we can speak only about some sort of dominance here. In case of C.G.Jung I think the most important aspect is his pragmatical introversion. There could be much debate on how Jung followed or created a possible path. I see though a mixture of 3, 4, 5 in the case of Jung. He was inspired by outer sources, he was quite independent in his work and also keen on intense introspection. What do you think? Maybe these 5 rules are too strictly separated?
