Today I am going to share you the story of the kid who wasn’t raised like that. He was a lucky boy and got a different kind of education. From open minded parents. Well, to be honest, I don’t know about his daddy, just about his mom. His mom used to think different about raising kids. She was also very protective, like all good moms. Now, let’s get on with our story.
It all happened in just one of those regular mornings. Same crowd on the subway, as on every workday morning. And there was a lady sitting, with her kid. The kid. The kid, who had a shrilling voice that could be heard in spite of the crowdedness in the wagon. Then the screaming turned into a growing number of kicks delivered to those standing near him. Although the kicked ones had a patience of a turtle, after a while a man turned to the mom and asked her to calm down the kid. Guess how she reacted.
“What?! Mind your own business mister. I am not raising my child like that!”
So, after order was called, everybody seemed to accept the situation, dreaming about the next station where they might get off. And the next station brought a miracle to them. The miracle. A guy who all this time was sitting next to the mom, who has been munching on a chewing gum with huge grimaces, stood up when the subway slowed down, ready to get off. But before stepping out of the wagon, the guy suddenly turned back to the mom, took out his chewing gum and sticked it on her forehead with an accurate and firm pressure. All this accompanied by the following words:
“Yeah Ma’am, I was raised just the same way.”
