I was interested in your view of personal and spiritual development. I particularly enjoyed your message that the goal of personal development is the soul. This fact is so often overlooked in many of the personal development tools in the Western world. In my recent article about Spiritual and Personal Development at scienceofenergyhealing.com, I suggest the importance of personal and spiritual development being in sync, and that when they are not, life can get very difficult.

Yes, I agree. I thing the distinction must be done between personal and spiritual development. You have pointed very well that personal development is much more about creating boundaries, and spiritual development is more about freeng yourself from these boundaries. The former is about creating a healty ego, the latter is about transcending it. I think it is very important to realize that nobody can trancend without having a well organized ego!

kulcsi, thanks for your encouraging words!

As far as it regards my take on self development, I consider these 4 principles as the very basics.

From your comments it seems to me that you agree with this organization of self development. Yes, I think it is crucial to make these distinctions.

Anyway, I presume this can give room to lots of further question. Like why spiritual development doesn't include personal development, or is it possible to start directly the spiritual path? These should come naturally because we are used to think like this about the possibilities of self development.

Brilliant! Finally a clear definition/dinstinction of the two very important concept! Congrats for the blog, it seems to me that you have really clearified concepts in your head.

There are only a few (almost none) really good blogs on personal development topics. Hope you will continue this well defined path and conception! Good work!!
